About the role
The Knowledge Management – AI & Content Strategy Engineer will design, organise and govern enterprise knowledge assets for Unisys ECS. Working across SharePoint, AI assistants and learning enablement, the role creates trustworthy, searchable content that serves employees, clients and AI solutions.
Responsibilities
- Define and maintain a knowledge‑management framework, including taxonomies, metadata, repository hierarchies and governance policies.
- Design SharePoint structures, content types and navigation while collaborating with platform specialists for complex integrations.
- Create templates, editorial standards and workflows that help subject‑matter experts capture, validate and publish reusable knowledge artifacts.
- Prepare AI‑ready content for Microsoft Copilot and other retrieval‑augmented generation solutions, establishing standards for structure, completeness and permissions.
- Partner with learning and development teams to turn knowledge into role‑based learning paths, workshops and onboarding material.
- Track metrics such as content freshness, discoverability, adoption and AI‑readiness, and report on repository health and improvement opportunities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Knowledge Management, Library Science, Information Systems, Instructional Design, Communications, Business or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, information architecture or a comparable field.
- Proven ability to design taxonomies, metadata models and governance processes.
- Hands‑on experience with SharePoint (sites, libraries, content types, permissions, search).
- Strong writing, editing, facilitation and visual‑communication skills.
