About the role
The IT Support Engineer will work on‑site in Mumbai, delivering installation, repair and maintenance of hardware, software and networking assets for Unisys clients. The role involves ensuring systems run smoothly, meeting service‑level agreements and providing a professional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Act as the field engineer for assigned clients and products, handling kiosks, desks and other equipment.
- Provide hardware, software and network support for desktops, laptops, servers, AV rooms and related devices.
- Install, configure and maintain PCs, peripherals, networks and server infrastructure.
- Perform preventive maintenance, upgrades and corrective actions on all covered assets.
- Execute installs, moves, adds and changes (IMAC) as required.
- Test and certify equipment and applications, and follow up on escalations.
Eligibility
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Technical certification or an Associate Degree may be required.
- Typically 1‑2 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Strong hardware troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency in software installation and configuration.
- Networking knowledge for desktops, laptops, servers and AV equipment.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and upgrades.
- Professional demeanor and adherence to SLA commitments.
