About the role

Twilio is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (L3) for its Segment Data Platform team. The position is remote‑first within India and focuses on building and scaling high‑throughput data pipelines that handle hundreds of thousands of events per second.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver robust, high‑scale routing and ingestion services for Segment data pipelines.
Operate and maintain always‑available distributed systems in cloud environments.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineering peers to create solutions that balance usability, performance, and long‑term architecture.
Communicate technical decisions, trade‑offs, and impact clearly to the team.
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.
Participate in on‑call rotation, troubleshoot incidents, and improve reliability tooling.
