About the role

Trimble is actively hiring a Software Engineer 1 for the AECO – Owner & Public Sector division at Chennai (Hybrid). This is a fantastic opportunity for 2024 and 2025 batch graduates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Software Engineering to build world-class SaaS solutions using the latest AI-augmented development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Guided AI Development: Learn to use coding assistants and agents to ship production-level features with high code quality and comprehensive test coverage.
  • Feature Implementation: Work on well-defined tasks and user stories, contributing to Cloud SaaS applications under direct mentorship of P3 and P4 engineers.
  • Collaborative Learning: Participate in global code reviews and team sprints using AI tools to document work and understand complex system architectures.
  • Continuous Growth: Proactively explore new AI agents and automation tools that help the team work smarter and faster.
  • Cross-Region Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams across EMEA and the US, contributing to globally distributed product development.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Batch Year: 2024 or 2025 graduates
  • Foundational Knowledge: Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object Oriented Programming

Skills

  • Technical Aptitude (Option A): Academic or project exposure to C#, .NET, and SQL
  • Technical Aptitude (Option B): Academic or project exposure to Node.js, Java, or React / Angular
