About the role

Thomson Reuters is looking for a Software Engineer I specialized in SAP ABAP to design, develop, and enhance SAP applications for its customers. The position is based in India (Hyderabad and Bangalore) and follows a hybrid work model, allowing you to split time between the office and remote locations.

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and customize ABAP‑based RICEFW objects (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows).
  • Develop, test, debug, and optimise SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions, including Fiori apps and OData services.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end‑users to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Maintain technical documentation, design specs, and configuration details.
  • Participate in code reviews, support migrations, implementations, and production support activities.
  • Work with APIs, integration points, and emerging technologies to deliver scalable solutions.
