About the role

Thomson Reuters is looking for an Associate Software Engineer specialized in SAP ABAP to design, develop, test, and maintain ABAP‑based solutions on SAP ECC and S/4HANA. Working in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate with functional consultants and business analysts to deliver scalable, business‑aligned applications while gaining exposure to SAP Fiori, OData and HANA SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and customize ABAP objects such as reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows (RICEFW).
  • Perform debugging, testing and performance tuning across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs using ABAP Objects, HANA SQL, SAP Fiori and OData.
  • Participate in code reviews and enforce coding standards and security guidelines.
  • Create and maintain design specifications, development artifacts and system documentation.
  • Support production issue resolution and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
