About the role

thinkbridge is looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to design and deliver system integrations. The position is hybrid, based in Perungudi, Chennai, and expects 3‑6 years of hands‑on experience with APIs, authentication, databases and production debugging, while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and ship production‑ready integrations using REST APIs, OAuth and event‑driven patterns.
  • Analyse unfamiliar codebases, map dependencies and define failure modes.
  • Collaborate with peers to communicate technical decisions clearly and resolve disagreements.
  • Utilise AI‑assisted coding, testing and validation to accelerate delivery.
  • Maintain observability, investigate incidents and ensure security best practices.

Eligibility

  • 3–6 years of software engineering experience.
  • Proven track record of building and supporting production systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.

Skills

  • API integration and RESTful services.
  • OAuth and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
  • Database design and query optimisation.
