Senior Frontend Engineer - Tills UI

About the role

We are looking for a senior frontend engineer to shape the Tills UI experience for Tesco. You will work in a hybrid setting, crafting responsive interfaces with React and TypeScript while tackling challenging accessibility problems that affect hundreds of thousands of users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance UI components using JavaScript, TypeScript and React.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate UX concepts into functional code.
• Implement server‑side features with Node.js where needed.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and improve overall user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Eligibility

• Proven senior‑level experience in frontend development.
• Strong understanding of modern web standards and accessibility guidelines.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
