About the role
Tata Communications is seeking fresh engineering graduates to join as Junior Customer Service Executives focused on AutoCAD‑based design for telecom infrastructure in Chennai. The position is full‑time, offers a salary of ₹2‑3.2 LPA and requires 0‑1 years of experience in 2D/3D drafting.
Responsibilities
- Create, modify and maintain 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for towers, shelters, foundations and related telecom structures.
- Prepare detailed design, as‑built and site‑access plans following operator standards.
- Develop dynamic CAD blocks, Xrefs and layer structures to streamline drawing production.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and generate BOMs and technical documentation.
- Deliver final drawings in DWG and PDF formats while maintaining version control.
- Interpret 2G‑5G network equipment specifications and produce related cable/electrical schematics.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 0‑1 years of experience or fresh graduate status.
- Graduation batch of 2025 or 2026.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting and 3D modeling).
- Understanding of structural design concepts for telecom sites.
- Ability to create and manage CAD blocks and dynamic elements.
- Good command of MS Office for documentation.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings.
