About the role

Softobiz Technologies is seeking a senior QA Engineer who will own end‑to‑end quality for the Pickles web transformation platform. The role blends manual testing, automation framework development, API validation and release‑gate activities, and requires close collaboration with developers, product managers and DevOps engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Design, write and execute detailed test cases, plans and exploratory tests for functional, regression and integration scenarios.
  • Build and maintain scalable automation suites using Playwright, Cypress or Selenium with TypeScript/JavaScript.
  • Integrate automated tests into GitHub Actions pipelines for continuous testing on every build.
  • Create and run comprehensive API test collections with Postman or RestAssured, validating contracts and error handling.
  • Own the regression test suite, schedule full and targeted regression cycles before each release.
  • Act as the quality gate during release validation, preparing checklists, smoke tests and sign‑off documentation.
