About the role
Smartsheet is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer in Bangalore to join its Platform team. The role involves building and enhancing web applications using Java and modern front‑end technologies, contributing across the product lifecycle, and collaborating with engineers to ensure high‑availability services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and release full‑stack features from concept through production.
- Take part in architecture discussions and help shape micro‑service designs.
- Maintain and extend existing service APIs while creating new ones.
- Participate in quality assurance activities, resolve defects, and support debugging of infrastructure issues.
- Leverage AI tools to boost coding, testing, and design efficiency, and mentor teammates on AI usage.
- Assist with any additional tasks as needed.

Eligibility
- 3‑4 years of professional experience building Java‑based full‑stack applications.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
