About the role

Navan is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer to lead the frontend of its enterprise travel platform. Based in Bangalore, you will shape user‑facing tools, build robust Java/Spring Boot services, and ensure the product scales globally while delivering a polished, accessible experience.

Responsibilities

Design and implement responsive, high‑performance UI for admin and user portals.
Create state‑heavy interfaces for travel policy configuration, approval workflows, and role management.
Collaborate with product designers to deliver pixel‑perfect components and maintain a shared UI library.
Develop and evolve backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
Own feature delivery end‑to‑end, from UI design through database schema.
Mentor peers, enforce best‑practice testing (unit, integration, E2E) and drive frontend architectural vision.

Eligibility

Minimum 4 years of software development experience, preferably on SaaS or consumer web products.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent hands‑on experience.

Skills

Strong frontend expertise with React, Angular or Vue and deep TypeScript knowledge.
Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend services.
Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and query optimization.
Understanding of web accessibility (A11y) and localization (l10n) best practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Ability to leverage AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, Cursor).
