About the role

Secfix is looking for a Backend Engineer to join its go‑to‑market team. The position is fully remote for candidates based in India and requires at least four hours of overlap with Central European Time. You will design and own backend systems that power the sales organization, including data pipelines, integrations, and AI‑driven tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build data pipelines that ingest, clean, deduplicate and score account and contact information from multiple sources.
  • Create the central data model and database that unifies CRM, outreach and product data.
  • Develop REST API integrations and webhooks for internal and third‑party services, and build lightweight internal tools where off‑the‑shelf solutions fall short.
  • Implement signal detection, lead scoring, routing logic and alerting to guide sales reps to the right opportunities.
  • Build AI‑powered agents that automate research, proposal generation and CRM updates for account executives.
  • Deploy, schedule, monitor and maintain all services, handling error recovery, rate‑limiting, logging and alerting.

Eligibility

  • Recent graduate (0–2 years) in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline with a strong academic record.
  • At least one year of backend experience gained through a full‑time role or internships, preferably in a startup environment.
  • Fluent spoken and written English; German is not required.
