About the role

Salesforce is hiring a Mid‑Level Technical Software Engineer to work on the Big Data infrastructure team in Hyderabad. The position focuses on building and operating scalable data processing services that power real‑time and batch analytics for internal and external users.

Responsibilities

Design and implement data processing and analytics services using Spark, Trino, Airflow and Kafka.
Develop resilient distributed systems that run across thousands of nodes in multiple data centres.
Troubleshoot performance issues, improve system reliability and drive architectural innovations.
Own the full service lifecycle, balancing new feature work with reliability and technical‑debt reduction.
Participate in an on‑call rotation to ensure high availability of critical services.
