About the role

The Content Analyst will join LSEG's Research & Estimates team in Bangalore, handling earnings‑estimate data for listed companies. You will ensure accurate entry, validation and interpretation of financial estimates, working closely with internal teams to resolve data queries.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and maintain earnings‑estimate data in internal databases with precision.
  • Collaborate with global contributors and internal stakeholders to clarify data issues.
  • Interpret consensus estimates, actual results and guidance from company releases.
  • Develop expertise in financial regulations, accounting standards and market conventions.
  • Follow change‑control and data‑quality procedures to guarantee completeness and timeliness.
  • Support ad‑hoc projects assigned by the manager.

Eligibility

  • Graduate degree in MBA, M.Com or a related analytical discipline.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a time‑critical, shift‑based environment.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office suite.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and accounting principles.
  • Analytical and data‑mining capabilities.
  • Effective email communication and professional correspondence.
  • Familiarity with in‑house databases (training provided).
