Software Engineer

About the role

The role involves designing and building Java‑based desktop applications for the medical‑device sector, as well as creating single‑page web applications using modern front‑end frameworks. Candidates will work on enhancing existing enterprise solutions, fixing bugs, and delivering new features while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Core Java/Swing desktop applications for medical devices.
• Build single‑page applications using Angular (and optionally React) for user interfaces.
• Understand and extend the architecture of existing Java, C++, Perl, and Python based systems.
• Own feature development, bug resolution, and enhancement tasks end‑to‑end.
• Communicate technical details effectively with both internal teams and external partners.

Eligibility

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience in software design and development.
• Graduates from any engineering or related discipline.

Skills

• Core Java and Java Swing development.
• Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
• Angular (front‑end) with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Linux/Unix environment proficiency.
• Unit testing using JUnit or similar tools.
• Object‑oriented design, design patterns, and UML.
• RDBMS and SQL querying.
• Experience in medical‑device software standards (e.g., DICOM).
