About the role

Qualcomm’s Machine Learning Group is looking for a software engineer to help build AI orchestration frameworks and SDK tools for Windows and Linux platforms. You will work on C/C++ code that powers ML inference on Snapdragon devices, collaborate with senior engineers, and gain exposure to generative‑AI workloads.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain AI orchestration frameworks, SDK components, and related tooling for both Windows and Linux.
  • Implement and test end‑to‑end ML workflow execution, including model loading, scheduling and runtime integration.
  • Write, debug and optimise C/C++ code that enables inference on Snapdragon platforms.
  • Integrate and validate ML inference frameworks such as ONNX Runtime, SNPE or QNN.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, unit testing and performance analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions.

Eligibility

  • At least 1 year of industry experience or strong internship/research background in software engineering.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux development environments.

Skills

  • Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms and object‑oriented design.
  • Experience with build tools such as Make, CMake, Visual Studio, GCC/Clang.
  • Good problem‑solving abilities and willingness to learn fast.
  • Effective verbal and written communication.
