Engineering Intern/Apprentice

About the role

PowerSchool has announced a fresh off-campus opening for the position of Intern/Apprentice, Engineering at its primary Research & Development facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Responsibilities

• Product Lifecycle Support: Assist senior developers in managing the complete product lifecycle from initial structural concepts to final software feature delivery.
• Design & Development: Participate in writing clear, well-structured code to design, develop, and update global cloud educational applications.
• Infrastructure Maintenance: Support regular maintenance operations on backend architectures, automation tools, and central infrastructure components.
• Quality & Consistency Tracking: Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Data Science teams to verify that systems deploy consistently and provide frictionless user experiences.

Eligibility

• Academic Stream: Must be currently pursuing or recently completed a full-time academic course of study in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related technical branches).
• Foundational Basics: Foundational conceptual understanding of object-oriented programming languages, web technologies, and database operations.
• Analytical Competency: Solid problem-solving mindset with a dedicated eye for detail and clean logic layout design.
• Communication Foundations: Reliable verbal and written English communication skills to interact seamlessly with distributed project engineering mentors.
