Associate Software Engineer

About the role

NIIT MTS is seeking a fresh graduate to join its development team as an Associate Software Engineer. The role focuses on writing clean code, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and gaining practical experience in building and maintaining scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and upkeep of software applications.
• Produce clear, efficient, and well‑documented code.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver features.
• Take part in code reviews and adopt best coding practices.
• Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Test applications to ensure performance and responsiveness.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience; freshers are encouraged to apply.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++ or JavaScript.
• Fundamental knowledge of software testing and QA concepts.
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code.
