About the role

Nextpower is looking for a senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead the conversion of new product introduction test solutions into reliable, high‑volume production systems for power‑electronics hardware. The role focuses on test architecture, yield improvement, and global deployment across contract manufacturers.

Responsibilities

Define and drive manufacturing test strategies during NPI to ensure smooth scale‑up.
Collaborate with test design engineers to enhance Design for Test, reduce cycle time and boost yield.
Build scalable test architectures and forecast capacity for high‑volume ramps.
Manage tester qualification, FAT, SAT and standardize test systems across multiple CMs.
Lead change‑management for ECO/ECN, firmware updates and test program releases.
Analyze test data, monitor first‑pass and final yields, and lead root‑cause corrective actions.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
At least five years of experience in manufacturing test engineering for power‑electronics or similar high‑volume industries.
Proven track record of moving NPI programs into mass production.

Skills

Proficiency in C#, Python or C++ for test development.
Experience with test automation tools such as LabVIEW and TestStand.
Ability to read schematics, define test points and perform DFT analysis.
Knowledge of quality methodologies like PFMEA, PPAP, APQP and QRQC.
Strong problem‑solving, leadership and cross‑functional communication abilities.
