About the role

NEC Software Solutions is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain SharePoint‑based intranet portals in Mumbai. The role involves building responsive pages, custom web parts, and workflows using SharePoint Framework, React, and Power Platform tools while ensuring high‑quality delivery for global clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement intranet sites, landing pages, templates, and multimedia components on SharePoint.
  • Develop custom SPFx web parts and extensions using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React and jQuery.
  • Create and manage lists, libraries, content types, site columns, and permissions.
  • Build workflows and forms with SharePoint Designer, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
  • Migrate content from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online using Sharegate.
  • Produce technical documentation, unit test cases, and ensure timely delivery.

Eligibility

  • 4‑9 years of relevant experience in SharePoint development.
  • Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across global teams.

Skills

  • SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Online, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
  • C# and .NET development.
  • React, jQuery, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint Designer.
  • SQL, Bootstrap, responsive design, and Windows Server administration.
