About the role

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned .NET developer to build and evolve a next‑generation Sales Configurator and CPQ platform. The position is based in Chennai and involves designing, coding, and deploying backend services on Azure while collaborating with frontend teams.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework.
Create micro‑services and REST APIs that integrate with Salesforce, SAP, MuleSoft and other enterprise systems.
Build and optimise SQL Server databases, stored procedures and data models.
Work with Azure services, manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and ensure smooth releases across environments.
Collaborate with ReactJS and Three.js frontend teams to deliver end‑to‑end configurator solutions.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related discipline.
4‑8 years of hands‑on experience with .NET technologies, C# and Web API development.
Proven ability to design enterprise‑grade micro‑service architectures.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for a global team.
