Software Intern

About the role

NCR Voyix is seeking a Software Intern to work on unified commerce platform technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineering leads in developing, testing, and optimizing code components.
• Participate in stand-up coordination meetings, core sprint layouts, design reviews, and collaborative pair-programming tasks.
• Write unit test cases, run test suites, report functional bugs, and work closely with QA pipelines to troubleshoot application stability issues.

Eligibility

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, MCA, or relevant quantitative disciplines.
• Foundational grasp of at least one modern high-level programming language such as Java, Python, C++, or Go.

Skills

• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Fundamental Data Structures, Algorithms (DSA), and software design cycles.
• Structured database queries (SQL/NoSQL) and basic web integration frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
