About the role

NationsBenefits is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to keep its fintech platforms highly available and secure. Based in Hyderabad, you will monitor services with Datadog, troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, and build automation using C#, Java, Python or scripting languages.

Responsibilities

  • Act as first responder for production incidents, perform triage and root‑cause analysis.
  • Maintain and fine‑tune Datadog alerts to reduce noise and ensure rapid detection.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and scale Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation, including weekends and holidays.
  • Develop automation scripts or small tools in C#, Java, Python, PowerShell or Bash.
  • Document incidents, post‑mortems and ensure compliance with PCI DSS/ISO 27001.

Eligibility

  • 4‑6 years of experience in SRE, DevOps or a closely related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Ability to work in high‑pressure fintech environments and collaborate across global teams.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Datadog or similar observability tools.
  • Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Programming/scripting expertise in C#, Java, Python, PowerShell or Bash.
  • Familiarity with SQL, MySQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
