About the role

The AI & Data Engineering team at LSEG is looking for a senior software engineer to design and deliver AI‑enabled backend services, REST APIs and data pipelines using Java (Spring Boot) and Python. The role is hybrid, with at least one day a week in the Bangalore office, and involves end‑to‑end ownership from design through production support.

Responsibilities

Build and enhance micro‑services, APIs and reporting solutions on Java and Python.
Own feature development lifecycle, including testing, deployment and production monitoring.
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate requirements into technical designs.
Identify automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Maintain system reliability, security, performance and documentation.
Leverage AI tools responsibly to boost code quality and delivery speed.
