About the role

The Business Analyst will work within LSEG’s Commodities team in Bangalore, shaping high‑quality pricing and fundamentals data for internal research and external client products. You will bridge business needs, technology and analytics, turning requirements into functional specifications and driving large‑scale content initiatives.

Responsibilities

Analyse business requirements and draft functional and technical specs for new and enhanced commodities datasets.
Lead end‑to‑end content onboarding, migration and modernization projects, coordinating with Content, Technology, QA and Delivery teams.
Track, investigate and resolve data quality and integration issues, performing acceptance testing and building robust test coverage.
Identify automation opportunities, improve testing efficiency and contribute to quality metrics and dashboards.
Collaborate with research, product and proposition teams, presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Mentor peers and share best practices across content and quality disciplines.
