About the role

Kran Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer Trainee to join its development team in Bhubaneswar. This entry‑level position is ideal for recent graduates with a passion for Java development and a willingness to learn the full software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Write clean, testable Java code for new and existing applications.
Document code and maintain clear technical specifications.
Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade software to improve performance.
Deploy applications, gather user feedback, and iterate on features.
Collaborate with senior engineers, internal users, and clients to meet project goals.
Support front‑end and back‑end components, ensuring seamless user experience.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Strong foundation in Java programming.
Familiarity with C++, operating systems, and problem‑solving techniques.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

Java, Git, SQL, C++.
Spring Boot framework.
JPA/Hibernate for ORM.
MySQL or PostgreSQL databases.
Basic front‑end knowledge (React, Angular, Thymeleaf, jQuery, JavaScript).
Experience with Windows, Linux or macOS environments.
