About the role

Jabil is seeking a Junior Automation Engineer IV to design, develop, and deploy automated manufacturing solutions. Based in Ranjangaon, the role focuses on robotics, PLCs, HMIs, and vision systems to boost production efficiency and quality.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and testing automation hardware and software, including robotics and PLC/HMI configurations.
Program, configure, and troubleshoot automation equipment and related applications.
Support commissioning, validation, and calibration of new production lines.
Maintain and upgrade existing automation systems, documenting procedures and specifications.
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities.
Provide training to shop‑floor staff and conduct root‑cause analysis for system failures.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of hands‑on automation engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
