About the role

As a Software Development Engineer 1 at IQVIA, you will join a fast‑growing technology team that builds end‑to‑end web solutions for healthcare analytics. The role blends backend development in C#/.NET with modern frontend work using React, while exposing you to Azure cloud services, AI‑assisted tooling, and agile delivery practices. It is designed for fresh graduates eager to apply computer‑science fundamentals in a real‑world, data‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and maintain C#/.NET applications and RESTful APIs following clean‑code standards.
• Build responsive user interfaces with React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, creating reusable UI components.
• Assist in deploying and supporting services on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, Azure SQL and storage.
• Explore AI‑enabled development aids such as GitHub Copilot and contribute to prototype AI‑driven features.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with product, QA, UX and DevOps teams, and follow software engineering best practices.
• Continuously learn OOP concepts, SOLID principles, data structures, algorithms, and cloud‑native development patterns.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Graduated in the 2025 or 2026 batch (or equivalent fresh graduate).
• Strong analytical mindset with good problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.

Skills

• Proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
• Familiarity with Java, Python or other object‑oriented languages.
• Understanding of data structures, algorithms and SQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of REST API concepts and software development lifecycle.
