About the role

BlackRock is seeking an Associate to lead frontend development initiatives, design and build web applications, and incorporate AI-driven testing. The role involves collaborating with global teams across the full software lifecycle, from inception to delivery, while continuously improving processes in a hybrid work setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of frontend projects, shaping architecture and delivering features.
• Integrate AI tools into development and testing workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in the complete SDLC, working with project managers, technical leads, business owners, and analysts.
• Define coding standards, best practices, and ensure clean, future‑proof code with unit tests.
• Support and troubleshoot existing systems, collaborating with engineering teams worldwide.
• Embrace continuous learning, mentorship, and proactive problem‑solving.

Eligibility

• 1–3 years of experience supporting Unix/Linux environments.
• Proficiency with a frontend framework, preferably Angular (React a plus).
• Strong knowledge of core JavaScript and libraries such as RxJS or NgRx.
• Hands‑on experience with HTML5 and CSS3, writing maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Git or another distributed version control system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and ability to work across time zones.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and strong teamwork skills.
