The role involves building and validating pre‑silicon simulation models, creating test environments, and collaborating with multiple cluster owners to ensure the IP meets specification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Integrate verification models for graphics logic components and media IP.
- Define and maintain verification infrastructure, including test‑flow‑machines (TFMs).
- Design and implement IP test environments with checkers, monitors, and verification components using tools like Verdi, VCS, and UVM/OVM.
- Develop stress stimuli, trackers, and debugging scripts to validate functionality.
- Collaborate across technical teams to resolve issues and drive reliable IP hand‑off to SoC.
Eligibility
- Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems or a related discipline.
- 3 to 7 years of hands‑on experience in pre‑silicon model builds, VLSI design, or testing.
- Strong problem‑solving, decision‑making and communication abilities.
Skills
- Proficiency with verification tools: Verdi, VCS, UVM/OVM.
- Solid understanding of digital design fundamentals (FSMs, registers, counters).
- Scripting experience in Python, Perl or Ruby.
- Knowledge of IP validation flows, HSD‑ES, DCCB and Gatekeeper processes.
