About the role

HSBC is offering an Intern‑Apprentice position in Mumbai for fresh graduates and candidates pursuing MBA, PG or CA. The role provides hands‑on exposure to corporate finance, internal controls, KYC remediation, regulatory compliance and live project work while supporting Relationship Managers and Associate Relationship Managers.

Responsibilities

  • Support Relationship Managers and Associate Relationship Managers with internal and client deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (BCO, GRBs, Risk, Credit Operations, Global Payments Solutions, Global Trade Solutions) to ensure timely servicing of corporate customers.
  • Assist in audit and regulatory recommendations implementation and maintain regulatory closures.
  • Handle account operations, account opening, KYC remediation and collect financial information and security documentation from clients.
  • Prepare and collate MIS reports as per business requirements.
  • Monitor credit quality of portfolios and take remedial actions when needed.

Eligibility

  • Any graduate degree, MBA, PG or CA (10+2+3 years of education).
  • Graduation must be within 5 years of the date of passing.
  • Must not have completed a government‑regulated apprenticeship earlier.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
