About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Power Apps and Power Automate Developer to design, build and maintain enterprise‑grade applications on the Microsoft Power Platform. The position is based in Chennai and works onsite, collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions that integrate with SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server and other enterprise data sources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop complex Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven) and sophisticated Power Automate flows.
  • Design data storage strategies using SharePoint, Dataverse, data lakes or Databricks.
  • Gather requirements from business users, translate them into functional specifications and process flow diagrams.
  • Maintain traceability of change requests and conduct design review meetings.
  • Support user acceptance testing and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to understand domain processes and integrate with systems such as SAP and Salesforce.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
  • Minimum of five completed projects on Power Apps and Power Automate in a lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and experience with Canvas and model‑driven apps.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, data lakes and Databricks concepts.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts and ability to interface with platforms like SAP and Salesforce.
