Active Directory Analyst

About the role

The Active Directory Analyst will support daily identity and access management tasks within HCLTech’s Active Directory environment in Nagpur, handling user lifecycle, access provisioning, group policy administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring security compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, disable and delete AD user accounts, manage security and distribution groups, and maintain organizational units.
• Handle onboarding, role changes, off‑boarding and periodic access reviews to keep permissions up‑to‑date.
• Provision and de‑provision access according to approved requests while adhering to security and governance policies.
• Resolve AD incidents, service requests and authentication issues within SLA, including password resets and account unlocks.
• Support and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects and coordinate with messaging, infrastructure and security teams for issue resolution.
• Assist with audit evidence collection, compliance reporting and participate in security reviews.
• Maintain operational documentation, SOPs and generate regular operational reports.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• 0‑3 years of experience in Active Directory or IAM support; freshers are welcome.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD/Entra ID fundamentals and Windows Server administration.
• Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
