About the role

This six‑month internship is with HARMAN Automotive’s engineering team in Bangalore. You will create and maintain automated test scripts for infotainment and instrument‑cluster software, run those tests on real hardware, and help surface defects early in the development cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and update Python‑based automation scripts for NI test platforms.
  • Execute functional and regression tests on target automotive hardware.
  • Analyse test outcomes, troubleshoot failures, and log defects for the development team.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to ensure software meets quality standards.
  • Support lab‑based testing activities, including SoC flashing and I/O control.
  • Learn automotive communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, Trace, Audio and IPC.
