Associate Software Engineer (AI/ML)

About the role

HARMAN is seeking a highly enthusiastic Agentic AI Engineer eager to construct next-generation cognitive systems driven by autonomous workflows and complex Large Language Models (LLMs). This technical profile is optimal for proactive tech freshers who want to fuse core web frameworks, scalable cloud architectures, and machine learning models to deploy secure, intelligent microservices.

Responsibilities

• Designing and executing automated Agentic AI operational sequences leveraging open-source tool architectures, custom planners, and volatile memory elements.
• Building and scaling secure backend software, RESTful configurations, and data endpoints via Python-centric microframeworks.
• Deploying highly accurate Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) components utilizing embedded vector spaces and custom databases.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in programming, data structures, and software engineering basics.
• Passion for AI, autonomous systems, and emerging technologies.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python (Mandatory).
• Complementary exposure to GoLang, Java, SQL, or JavaScript is a definite competitive advantage.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, modern client-server models, and programmatic libraries such as RESTful APIs, structured JSON configurations, and SQLAlchemy object-relational mapping.
