About the role

Google has officially opened applications for its flagship Software Application Development Apprenticeship Program (March 2027 Start) in India. This 12-month, full-time paid apprenticeship is designed for recent graduates and individuals looking to launch a career in software development.

Responsibilities

• Learning, adhering to, and upholding Google’s internal software engineering and coding standards.
• Supporting team projects across implementation, unit testing, debugging, and code integration.
• Gaining cross-functional exposure to various aspects of the software development lifecycle, including testing and project management.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
• Less than 1 year of professional experience in software application development.
• Hands-on programming experience in at least one modern coding language (e.g., Python, C++, Java, Go, JavaScript).

Skills

• Familiarity with Google Workspace or similar productivity and collaboration suites.
