About the role

Google is hiring university graduates for an Associate Product Manager position in Bangalore, Karnataka. The role starts between April and August 2027 and is aimed at candidates who have completed a technical degree or equivalent experience and have internship or teaching‑assistant exposure to product management or software development.

Responsibilities

  • Research market trends and user needs to shape product direction.
  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, legal and UX teams to launch and iterate features.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and guide products from concept to release.
  • Measure product performance and drive continuous improvement.

Eligibility

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Product Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related technical field.
  • Internship or Teaching Assistant experience in product management, software development or a similar technical area.
  • Demonstrated leadership or entrepreneurial activities and ability to build cross‑functional relationships.
  • Experience delivering technical presentations in academic or extracurricular settings.

Skills

  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational and critical‑thinking abilities.
  • Fluent English communication for regional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with product development methodologies.
  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts, programming, data analysis or business case modelling is a plus.
