About the role

Genea is seeking a QA Engineer who will own both manual and automated testing for its cloud‑based proptech platform. The role involves designing test strategies, creating test cases, and building automation scripts using Playwright or Selenium while collaborating with developers and product teams in a hybrid setting in Ahmedabad.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute test strategies, plans, and cases for product features.
  • Perform functional, integration, regression, exploratory, smoke and end‑to‑end testing.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts with Playwright and Selenium.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman or Swagger and validate database operations with SQL.
  • Log, track, retest and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work in an Agile environment, contributing to test design, automation coverage and continuous improvement.
