About the role

Streamhub is seeking a senior full‑stack engineer who will both develop product features and own the automation systems that verify their correctness. The position is remote, focuses on a mix of backend services, data pipelines and React front‑end work, and emphasizes AI‑assisted development and quality automation.

Responsibilities

Design and implement backend APIs and services using Python or Node/TypeScript, integrating with large‑scale data stores.
Contribute to data modelling and transformation on a Snowflake‑based platform.
Develop and extend React components for the customer analytics UI.
Build and maintain API and web UI automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
Create automated validation for ETL pipelines, including schema, contract and business‑rule checks.
Integrate quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and investigate data‑quality issues end‑to‑end.

Eligibility

At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
Proven track record of building production‑grade backend services and APIs.
Hands‑on experience with test‑automation framework design and CI/CD integration.

Skills

Strong coding skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with React for front‑end development.
Advanced SQL proficiency and familiarity with data warehouses such as Snowflake.
Expertise in API and web UI automation tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium).
Comfort using AI‑assisted development tools like Claude Code, Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
Ability to design test strategies and quality gates for large‑scale systems.
