About the role

Gartner is looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join its Insights & Product Analytics team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on turning large volumes of structured and unstructured data into actionable insights using Python, NLP, machine‑learning and generative‑AI techniques. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, innovate in text analytics, and help build trustworthy AI solutions that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver high‑impact data‑science projects that extract, interpret and visualise insights from massive datasets.
  • Partner with stakeholders to prototype and operationalise ML, DL and LLM‑based solutions.
  • Develop novel text‑analytics approaches, including retrieval‑augmented generation and prompt engineering.
  • Own end‑to‑end programs that translate business goals into measurable improvements in engagement, retention or cost efficiency.
  • Establish standards for model evaluation, guardrails, hallucination control and responsible‑AI governance.
  • Maintain best practices in code reuse, documentation and model‑lifecycle management.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline from a recognised institution.
