Senior Front End Engineer

About the role

Fueled is looking for a senior front‑end engineer to design and deliver high‑performance, accessible web experiences for global brands. Working remotely, you will shape component architectures, bridge design vision with code, and mentor the team while using React, Next.js, Tailwind and WordPress block themes.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build large‑scale, modular front‑end applications that meet performance, accessibility and maintainability standards.
• Lead code reviews and define reusable component patterns for the engineering team.
• Translate complex designs into functional, cross‑browser experiences using custom CSS or Tailwind.
• Present technical solutions to clients and collaborate with designers and back‑end engineers.
• Contribute to the contractor pool, share process improvements and potentially influence future full‑time opportunities.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional front‑end development experience.
• Strong portfolio or code samples demonstrating expertise in React, Next.js and modern CSS.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and communicate clearly with clients.
• Experience with WordPress block themes and component‑driven architecture.
