About the role

Fronius is looking for a System Engineer to support its sales and service operations for robotic welding solutions. The role blends technical configuration, on‑site installation, maintenance and customer advisory across its New Delhi and Gurugram locations. Candidates will work closely with internal sales teams and external clients, travelling as needed to ensure successful system integration.

Responsibilities

  • Configure robotic welding systems to match customer specifications and assist the sales team during the sales cycle.
  • Analyse client requirements, prepare technical proposals and present application advice.
  • Perform installations, commissioning, and integration of welding equipment, PLCs and related software.
  • Provide post‑installation support, troubleshoot breakdowns, and carry out repairs on welding hardware and peripherals.
  • Collect customer feedback, suggest product enhancements and recommend new services.
  • Offer phone, email and on‑site technical support to regional and national customers.

Eligibility

  • Diploma or graduate degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with welding equipment installation and repair.
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs, robotic programming and system integration.
  • Strong computer literacy and fluent English communication.
  • Willingness to travel and ability to work both independently and within a team.
