About the role

Expedia Group is seeking a Network Engineer I to manage, design, and scale large-scale cloud and enterprise networks across global data centers.

Responsibilities

Support day-to-day operations across enterprise and data center networks
Assist in implementing and validating network configuration changes and new architecture designs
Perform routine maintenance operations, including software upgrades and resource patching
Monitor intake channels, troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, and escalate complex incidents

Eligibility

0-2 years of hands-on technical exposure in network engineering, infrastructure support, or a related technical role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or an equivalent field
Foundational industry certifications such as Cisco CCNA, Arista ACE Level 1, AWS Foundational, or equivalent cloud/networking credentials

Skills

Practical network implementation experience
Cloud knowledge, including public or hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or GCP)
Fundamental understanding of core routing and switching concepts
Ability to configure enterprise-grade network hardware
Basic familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, or PowerShell)
