Consultant - Business Consulting Risk (AMI)

About the role

As a Consultant in EY's Advanced Manufacturing, Mobility & Infrastructure (AMI) practice, you will support risk and control engagements for diverse industry clients in Ahmedabad. The role involves performing internal audits, risk assessments, and control testing while developing a solid understanding of client processes and delivering high‑quality documentation and insights.

Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit, risk advisory and controls assessment engagements across multiple business functions and industries.
• Understand client business models, key processes and operational workflows to identify risk exposures.
• Conduct process walkthroughs, risk assessments, control testing and substantive procedures following EY methodology.
• Analyze financial, operational and transactional data to spot trends, anomalies and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare working papers, process documentation, risk‑and‑control matrices (RCMs) and client deliverables.
• Support review of policies, procedures and governance frameworks for compliance with internal and external requirements.
• Collaborate with engagement teams and client stakeholders to ensure effective delivery.

Eligibility

• Graduates in B.Tech (Computer Science or Mechanical), M.Tech (Civil), B.Com, M.Com or Chartered Accountant.
• 0‑2 years of relevant technical experience, governance, risk & compliance or internal audit experience.
