Software Engineer

About the role

As a Software Engineer at Ecolab, you will design, develop, and enhance Salesforce solutions that support the company’s water, hygiene and infection‑prevention services. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust configurations, build custom Apex code, and ensure smooth delivery through the full development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Gather business requirements and convert them into Salesforce implementations.
• Enhance and optimise existing Salesforce setups while creating new features.
• Participate in solution design, applying best‑practice patterns.
• Diagnose and resolve Salesforce issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Estimate effort, follow development lifecycle processes and maintain documentation.
• Leverage Apex, SOQL, VisualForce and Lightning components for custom development.

Eligibility

• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Salesforce development.

Skills

• Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Lightning components.
• Salesforce architecture and custom coding.
• Strong coding fundamentals, SDLC knowledge and problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent English communication and technical writing.
