Senior Frontend Software Engineer

About the role

eBay is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Engineer to develop and support core Identity Services, including Authentication, Authorization, User Management, and Web Services Security.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable software designs and code.
• Take full ownership of the software lifecycle for subsystems, including design, development, testing, deployment, observability, and monitoring.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and offer mentorship to team members.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop innovative solutions that align with development goals.
• Lead initiatives to improve end-to-end testing quality and accelerate delivery velocity.

Eligibility

• 6+ years of experience in designing and developing front-end systems.
• Strong proficiency in Javascript/Typescript, CSS, React, and Node.js.
• Experience with Server-side rendering (SSR) using open-source UI libraries (e.g., Material UI, Ant UI).
• Proven ability to integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
