About the role

Senior Principal Engineer to drive architectural strategy across AlphaSense's web, mobile, and headless surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Vision: Define and drive the technical strategy for the entire Applications Portfolio.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a key mentor and coach to senior engineering talent.
• Product-Engineering Synergy: Collaborate deeply with Product leadership to drive roadmaps.
• Strategic Alignment: Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams regarding goals, outcomes, and timelines.
• Technology Transformation: Spearhead the evolution of our application architecture.

Eligibility

• Extensive experience (15+ years) as a senior/principal-level software engineer.
• Proven success leading technology transformation across organizations of 80+ engineers.
• Deep understanding of modern API design (REST, GraphQL) and its application in highly distributed, agentic environments.

Skills

• Frontend architecture and large-scale application systems.
• Modern API design (REST, GraphQL).
• Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent-integration patterns.
