About the role
Deutsche Bank is looking for an Application Owner who will also act as Scrum Master for a key banking application in Pune. The role blends application lifecycle management, risk and compliance oversight with Agile facilitation, ensuring the solution stays secure, reliable and continuously improves.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end management of the assigned application, including capacity planning, upgrades, and disaster‑recovery coordination.
- Drive internal and external audits, remediate security and compliance gaps, and handle any IT‑security incidents.
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, coach the team on Agile practices, and remove impediments to keep sprints on track.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, delivery teams, vendors and governance bodies to align technical work with business priorities.
- Maintain application access controls, monitor performance using bank‑wide tools, and oversee infrastructure tasks such as server procurement and decommissioning.
Eligibility
- Any graduate or post‑graduate from an accredited university.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, matrixed environments and manage stakeholder expectations.
Skills
- Understanding of information‑security controls, governance, compliance and audit processes.
- Experience with IAM concepts and basic networking knowledge.
- Scrum/Agile certification and hands‑on facilitation experience.
- Technical familiarity with UNIX/Windows, Java, .NET and databases such as Oracle, Sybase, SQL.
