About the role

As a Software Engineer at Cummins India in Pune, you will design, develop, and deliver software solutions that align with business needs while adhering to modern engineering practices such as Agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership from requirement analysis to deployment, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Analyse user requirements, system flows and data usage to craft effective software solutions.
Design, develop, test, and document applications following the full software development lifecycle.
Evaluate feasibility, define non‑functional requirements, and prepare system specifications for implementation.
Apply security, compliance, data governance, and modern development practices (Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD) throughout the project.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, communicate designs, and drive outcomes with urgency.
Continuously upgrade technical knowledge through learning, professional networks, and industry publications.

Eligibility

Graduation in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (B.E, B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, M.Tech, or equivalent).
